Item 2717 imported from sourceforge.net tracker on 2013-01-28 19:47:16

... but the timer seems to work when hitting some rooftops...

this depends on the ground - throwing a grenade into e.g. sand where i would not bounce would lead to an immediate explode.

I did not know that, but 4 me this is quite illogical as the ground should maybe have an effect on the way the grenade bounces, but it should not have an effect on the timer ?! I mean if you have a timed grenade it never should explode immediately upon hitting the ground, but when the timer reaches its end...

you are of course right - but it adds nothing as waiting, it was just easier to implement it in the way it is now - but i agree that is should be fixed on the long run, though this does not have a high prio for me.
