Adding aircraft over 64 results in aircraft at the end of the list (i.e. in 8th base disappearing). In the attached save game I thought there were 68 aircraft. I had recently added aircraft and noticed that 4 aircraft from my last base were missing. If you go into my last base and go to aircraft you will see that there is no aircraft currently selected - presumably one of the 4 that disappeared.

I was using 2.3 stable

For me the main issue is not that there is a limit, but there is no warning to notify the user. If the limit is needed I suggest including in a tip for the day maybe with other known limits.

I don't know if this is related but when I load this .savx in 2.3 dev 30387 much of the game is missing - I will post a separate bug for that

there is really no technical reason for this limit - it is just a limit - afaik we can even remove it, as we've changed everything to linked lists now.

this is already fixed in 2.4 - but won't get merged back into the 2.3 tree
