That's strange, I managed to research Odd Behaviour without having 10 live Aliens in my containment. I only ever had 3 max! I think I even only needed 1 live alien to research Alien Mind, but my memory is a bit hazy and I could be telling lies.

Sorry if this has been discussed already. I just thought that determining accuracy, range and damage by the type of ammunition you use might make sense in some cases, but for laser weapons it doesn't make any sense at all. All laser weapons seem to use the same ammunition and therefore they all have the same properties. This means that I do the same amount of damage with a laser pistol as with a heavy laser, but the heavy laser runs out of ammo much faster (only 6 shots I think) than the pistol does.

I think it looks much better, but I don't like the colour of the cockpit. It doesn't really seem to fit with the rest. Maybe too bright, or just the wrong shade of blue. I'd go with a quite dark gray.

Yeah I find that very annoying, too. It would be nice if right clicking or pressing esc would make the soldier stop whatever he's doing.

I think you're not supposed to be able to use it on yourself. If I remember correctly it also has a negative chance to hit if you try and do that. It's not quite right that you can't use it although it takes up your TUs, though. Guess that's a bug.

Speaking of texts: I have noticed that some of the texts in the ufopedia are somehow cut off at the end. The ufopedia entry just ends in the middle of nowhere. I have the German version 2.1.

Anybody else have the same problem?

As far as I know, miniguns are non-portable weapons, but who cares? This is a sci-fi game right? You gotta have miniguns :D
I guess it could only be used by very strong soldiers and I could imagine it to have a ridiculous spread.

Is the "strength" attribute of a soldier limiting the weight of equipment they can carry or use at all?

At some point you can research some sort of stun rod. If you use that one on the battlefield, you can catch yourself a nice fresh live alien.

You can use the mouse wheel I think. But it only seems to work in the recruiting area. I noticed that you can't scroll when you want to equip your craft:

I had a bunch of bad soldiers and then really good ones right at the end of the list. Of course I wanted to put the good soldiers on board of my drop ship but they were off the page and I couldn't scroll down. So I had to sack many of the bad ones so the better ones fit on the screen again.

However, overall this is promising to be an amazing game! It's already a great deal of fun and I can't wait for the next version to come out! Thumbs up for everyone involved!
