im using 2.4 25th april. i cant get the ufo console on as its over 5mb coz thats how messed up its just gone. any suggestions as what i shud do? shud i screen shot some of it? i can give mysave games.

was on a terror mission in skita? i think. and the snow particles didnt work and crashed my whole pc for 5 minutes. and then UFO AI shut down.

That was a bug in 2.2, it was fixed in 2.2.1, the current stable version is 2.3.1. What do you think?

im using 2.4 so it shud be the same shudnt it. well ill equip my craft with armour then, thanks for the heads up.

new failed assertion just in the middle of a mission on city disco map

im using the 25th of april version so its only 2 days old.

should i upload the crashdump? as it made one when it crashed

Do you have armor on them? Are you sure the UFOs you attack are just Scouts and Fighters? Harvesters are known for ripping most PHALANX craft to pieces.

no,  read somewhere that early armour on the crafts is useless  :-\ and yes im only fighting the ones that are going 770 and 880, i just leave the 1110's

Ok, ive sorted the happiness thing out n the ufos but now i lose stilettos faster than i can say "pop goes the weasel". i always have 2 at the ready and always send both out against fighters and scouts. they both have 2 sparrowhawks (which have gone from the shop as ive bought all of them and cant buy anymore) and the shiva cannon.

Do i need more? or am i just equiping them wrongly

any tips on how to keep my stilletos from getting shot down so fast?

i built a base in the asian republic and theres no stair case to build attachments on to.

ive just looked at the ufoconsole and theres no errors or anything but ill attach just incase

Do the soldiers time units change when they level up? ive had one at corporal and lance corporal, everything else is improving but during tactical games they always have 33 TU

i dont know what happened butill try and describe it as much as possible.

i was playing a terror mission

Location: Malang
Type: Terror Mission.
Objective: A peaceful neighbourhood on the outskirts of a centre of population

Cant get any screenshots of what happened but heres what i did

1st go: i moved 5 men with away from the dropship
2nd go: i shot the first alien i saw which died after 1 aimed airburst from a GL. what then happened was my man started to glitch and twitch as in the the dead twitchy bodies, but he wasnt dead and was still standing. next thing i know im on the geoscape and the terror mission is still there and my dropship is taking the soldiers home.

Guys as far as im concerned you're doing an awesome job, really got into it now. i remember playing the oldies for hours and right now i try to play this as much as possible. Looking forward to future versions and what you guys can really add to it to make it an unmissable game. :)

Feature Requests / Pilot skills/stats

ive noticed that theres nothing for the pilots yet, dont know if theres somethings in the works for it yet but im suggesting give them stats like the soldiers. blast me if there is stuff wrong its my bad for not paying attention to what is coming in the next version but a scenario:

Pilot name - (name)
Pilot level - 2
Navigation - 3
Manuverability - 2
Reactions - 4

maybe there could be a place for a little description of his past experience such as ex RAF fighter pilot or ex concord pilot n such.
