I guess have done quite lot of wiki translations for the Ufopaedia, but these do not seem to get into the latest builds (2.5-dev, for example).
Do I need to do something else, or the build system will pick the text from wiki?
I interpreted "So you don't have to touch a po file at all..." as needing to edit only the wiki pages.

I've been quite busy lately, but will merge your changes into 2.5 soon.

Hi,

I followed the http://ufoai.org/wiki/Translating page. Downloaded the po file (ufoai-sl.po). So Slovenian is my Mother language. In meanwhile i was able to translate lot of text. I used the Poedit Program. I tested the mo file that is generated by Poedit in the game and most of the translation is ok. But i have a question. In the first menu of the game is "button" called Developers. I couldn't find in the po file that word. So i am not able to translate it. All the other menu "Buttons" are ok and i was able to translate them. What is wrong?

It was changed recently and the po files were not yet updated with it. Skip it for now, upload your patch to the tracker and we will generate new po-s after applied your patch. (The button was labeled "Credits" before but it conflicted with the currency of the game.)

Login sourceforge, go to the patch tracker create a ticket, attach your .po file (zipped) to the ticket

Hello,

I would like to post a new patch (an "ufoai-fr.po" file, downloaded and processed with poedit, as explained on the Translating wiki page), but... I can't create any ticket after registering a new account on Sourceforge (and subscribing to the ticketing tool itself).

Could you please tell me whether I missed some point ?

Thanks

We don't use sourceforge anymore. Try our new bug tracker.

Thank you : it worked fine :)

I should have noticed your previous message, posted in January in the "Announcements" section... Sorry for asking.

It might be useful to modify the link in http://ufoai.org/wiki/Translating page. (cf. "Submit a patch with the zipped po file as attachment". ==> "patch" links to sourceforge).
