-Windows 2000 SP4 NTFS (w2ksp4)
-sound with 0.12beta yes (SVN until rev1053 sound yes)
-all options standard no changes made.
Maybe ufoconsole.log (attached) helps a little.

Oh, sorry, I didn't see the ufoconsole.log. I have no idea
about Windows sound and ufoconsole.log looks quite normal,
so no help from me. Sorry again. :)
