It seems that all of the weapons have no statistics in
their information screens, same goes for most of the
buildings, aliens, tech, etc. At most there is a
<name>_txt listed in the text area.

This is a gettext-problem. gettext will replace the
<name>_txt with the translated text that is in the correct
<lang>.po file.

I&#039;ll try to fix that, but i do need some help to find the
problem.
I _do_ use gettext when placing the text, but the result is
the above mentioned wrong text:

= cl_ufopedia.c ===============
...
menuText[TEXT_UFOPEDIA]=_(t->description);
...
===============================

ok, the solution to this problem is to run
"make lang"
in src/linux

.. of course if there is no txt written for it it still will
be missing .. different problem -> watch the forums.
