Description
[http://sourceforge.net/p/ufoai/feature-requests/337 Item 337] imported from sourceforge.net tracker on 2013-01-28 20:18:20

ufo2map in -fix mode should have some sanity checks - for example, that brush and entity count before and after has not changed, except changes when empty func_groups are deleted or other changes are performed that are well known to have no possible map regression consequences.

i do not think there is a sensible way of implemeting this.

i guess you might be thinking of the maputils java duplicating brushes. no sensible test would have caught that.

i think maybe the best solution (now we are making UFORadiant) is to change ufo2map -fix and radiant to save the numbers in exactly the same way, so svn diff shows only the significant changes.
