The game starts except all soldiers have 0 TU/HP/Morale and I can't do a single thing. Ending the turn results an unending turn for team 7. Aborting the mission does not end the battlescape.

Observations: This bug seems to occur whenever I try to over-encumber a certain soldier. When I changed the soldier&#039;s encumbrance to normal(weight <= .5*STR), the game plays normally. So far I have not observed this behavior on other soldiers.

More info:
The bug occurs when reaching a certain %weight capacity for some soldiers.
I was able to use some soldiers @ 100% weight limit w/ no problems.
The easiest way to trigger this bug is to overload(~95%weight capacity) all of your soldiers before heading to a mission.

In my testing this seems to be more related to the _number_ of items the soldier carries than the weight/encumbrance, also the bug doesn&#039;t always happen, even with the exact same soldier and equipment (same save).
The effect is similar to bug [#3395], the client seems to stop responding to the server messages, but server-side the game seems to be running normally, (at least for me) ending your turn works server-side and returns control to the player, but there&#039;s no sign of it -- not even console messages (broadcast printf stops working).

Ok I found a bug in dbuffer::getAt that could cause NET_ReadMsg to perpetually fail waiting for a message with an unholy length...
Should be fixed by 873800a7c217b8d0b426ebf9ff69a2adfc95befa, please report otherwise.

Just updated and performed some tests. Bug didn&#039;t occur even after filling up every soldier&#039;s inventory w/ 1x1 items. Bug seems fixed.
