When a soldier dies from wounds, the game text that appears says the soldier "was killed." It would be nice if it said "succumbed to their wounds".

Also, the stats at the end of the mission don't show a soldier who has died from his wounds. It would be nice if that was displayed. I don't have it in my notes whether or not the soldier is counted as killed by aliens or just doesn't appear in the stats. I'll try to notice next time it happens.

Yes, I know about this, even before I sent the patch for the healing system, the game currently only tracks deaths by enemy or friendly fire, thus actors (any team) that are killed/stunned by other means (wounds, fire/gas fields, trigger_hurt) aren&#039;t counted in the stats, <s>the same goes for the message: in those situations actors die without an attacker and thus the messages is just "was killed"</s>, I was thinking about the stats messages in the console, in the hud there is only one message for death regardless of cause, I will try to figure something.

Due to the fact that it is ATM not possible to distinguish from actors killed by wounds and those killed by triggers of fire fields I just implemented a generic &#039;has died&#039; message, hopefully that is Ok for now
As for the stats at mission end, I changed &#039;killed by aliens&#039; to &#039;killed in action&#039; and grouped all not friendly fire deaths there.
