In general, splash damage works.

I noticed this bug after updating from:
commit 2da5b77f7e1fefa4250b512db431b1b64632fadd

From there on:
1) The battlescape was unable to spawn any particles.
2) Splash damage was the only means of dealing damage.

Presently, #2 still persists.

This was caused by a bug (introduced in [796bf54eacb13b749efee13347b9e94d6f02ec00]) in the WorldBox (now AABB) class, it should be fixed as of [fd21fb29542d47a93b82e8247d982d2f6d36349e]
