Given the completion text of the med alien armor research, I'd expect a research item should have popped up automatically for the new human armor. I didn't get it. saved game attached. Thank you.

If you've researched nanocomposite armor, that's as far as you're going to get. There is no heavy nanoncomposite armor in the game. Not yet at least and won't be in 2.4 either.

Thank you for the reply. I'm surprised because I played the game over a year ago -don't remember the version back then- and I'm sure there was an armor superior to nano. A dark one.

First of all: it's not a bug. Heavy nano armour is just not yet done.
The armour you remember was most probably the power armour but it wasn't a successor of nano armour.
