Use the recently added gumtree prefab variations to test. They use the same model but assign a different skin property to the leaves.

Add gumtree1 prefab, then add gumtree2 prefab. The skin of gumtree1 will be changed to reflect gumtree2's skin property. If you add gumtree3, all three skins will be updated to the latest skin property.

Editing the skin property for one model after this edits the skin property for all similar models.

The prefabs appear to be set up correctly.

This bug report is imho not fully correct.
The model skins are just not displayed correctly in UFORadiant (bug #3311460), but the correct skins will be used in-game after map compilation.

I will set this to pending as the bug report #3311460 describes the bug correctly.
