With recent ufoai (win32) builds - and a save game started before noticing this - I can only use one fire mode of a soldier's weapon - namely the one displayed at the lowest menu position of each hand. For example only "snap shot" for assault rifle, "heal" for medikit (no throw), "throw" for [frag] grenade (no lob).
If I select any of the fire modes there is no mouse pointer change at first (no aiming line/symbol [whatsit?]). After one left click somewhere on the battle scape - which doesn't trigger a shot/throw/etc. - line/symbol look as expected. Only that e. g. "snap shot" mode is displayed. That mode is also "performed" at the next left click - regardless of the fire mode chosen from the hud menu.
With a newly started game even display the fire modes menu doesn't work...

I did a git bisect - that identified:

I can reliably reproduce this.
Since this is only a very recent problem I apologize if this is a known problem and due to work in progress.
