The attached savegame opens in 2.3 stable but after progressing game, saving results in crash to desktop
opening in Muton's ufoai-2.3-dev-30387-Debug-pentium3-O1-sse-7z-small-win32.exe results in only part of the game being loaded no inventory, no employees, no credits...

I just tried with 2.3.1 and I can load the .savx file and start playing. But when I save, the game crashes to desktop with no visible error messages. I looked at the ufoconsole.log (attached) and it looks like it starts saving and the problem happens when it gets to the transfer subsystem.

Anything you can do to help would be appreciated. As it stands, I can't continue playing my campaign in 2.3 and I understand 2.3.x save games are not compatible with 2.4

It's due to the >64 aircraft issue. transfer[8] record is:
<transfer day="761038" sec="49527" destBase="4" srcBase="2"><aircraft id="18" /><aircraft id="64" /><aircraft id="65" /><aircraft id="66" /><aircraft id="67" /></transfer>

On aircraft 64-67, it over indexes the array, overwriting the rest of the structure including source and destination base pointers. on saving the destination base pointer is a garbage which causes a segmentation fault.

As 2.4 has no limit on aircraft and uses different structures, this is a 2.3 only issue.

e06cb9e5487fcd780a0ec79d199fa9b2644981c7 fixes this problem. Doesn&#039;t fix everything about the more than 64 aircraft.

Is there are anyway I can continue my 2.3 campaign?

All my savegames have the same issue. Is there anyway I (or someone else) can edit / fix the save data in the savegame?

Yes, update to the latest version in 2.3 branch. Your save loaded fine, and I could continue playing. No crash on save, on crash after turning time for about a month....

This bug is fixed reopen only if you can prove the opposite.

using Muton&#039;s
ufoai-2.3.1-1291330966-Release-pentium3-O1-sse-7z-small-win32.exe from
today.

I can now save. Hooray. Thank you again for your great game and support.
