Description
[http://sourceforge.net/p/ufoai/bugs/2712 Item 2712] imported from sourceforge.net tracker on 2013-01-28 19:47:16

When equipping plasma blades they appear as "depleted" (with red highlight).
However, in battlescape these equipped "depleted plasma blades" look and function properly - as one-shot items, with one charge in them.

1) Game version: 2.3 stable release.
2) Setup (probably irrelevant): WinXP, GeForce 7800GTX.
3) Reproduce by: In the Equip Soldiers screen (from Aircraft menu), equip a Plasma Blade.
4) See screenshots at: http://ufoai.ninex.info/forum/index.php?topic=5514.0

adding the info from the topic:

the plasma blades are a special type of weapon - they are maybe just not handled in the equipment screen correctly. (they don't have ammo)

the function is UI_DrawItem in ui_node_container.c (in 2.4-dev)

i haven't looked deeper, and i might be wrong here, but imo it does not make much sense to set oneshot, deplete AND reload for the same item. as oneshot means, we have our own ammo (exactly one shot), deplete means, that it isn't usable after we did that one shot, so why the heck is reload defined there?
