I'm getting a strange visual effect on many of the harvesters. It's most pronounced on the floor, but also appears on some displays. There are screenshots of both and I included my ufoconsole.log just in case there's anything you can glean from that.

I noticed it on africa, country and japan maps. And I noticed it didn't happen on the city map. This makes me think it might be related to the material file since city hasn't incorporated any of the new material animations and effects for the harvesters.

if you turn of shaders it's "fixed"?

also what if you deactivate the material system? cvar r_material(s) set to 0

Deactivating the material system made the problem go away.

I suspect if you enable the GLSL shaders, enable the material system, and disable realtime lighting the problem will go away. Is this correct?

I have the same problem with road markings reflection on +hills & +city maps. And I found a dependence - if the number of dynamic lights greater than 3, then the problem disappears.

maybe because the shaders are no longer working with dynamic lights > 3 ;) - check the console output

I did some testing today and this bug seems to be gone. I'll set this to Pending in case anyone else is still having problems.
