Description
[http://sourceforge.net/p/ufoai/bugs/1972 Item 1972] imported from sourceforge.net tracker on 2013-01-28 19:14:56

revision 21424.
compile & load attached map. game quits with Error: Com_EParseValue: Illegal vector statement '60 30' (file: 'src/client/cl_view.c', line: 131)

while map might be incorrect here, game should not just quit like that, instead an error msg should be shown.

you see an error, no? imo it's a sys_error if the data is just wrong. i also see no reason to continue to run the game if the data is broken.

ehh. that seems to be again a coder's view, completely missing what it might look like to a user...
why-oh-why can't an error be printed out, allowing user to maybe start a new game or something ?
what would you say if your word processing software would close if you fed an incorrect document to it, taking your unsaved, important document (or unsaved campaign) with it ?

that's a stupid comparison. a game is a game - if it's data is corrupt there is no need to run it further. the one who is responsible for the broken data should fix the data - the code should not handle this.
