open production, select some entry in the list. switch to other categories. notice how, if the itemcount is the same or larger, same entry from the top is selected. if the list in this other category is shorter, no item on the list is selected. in both cases first item is shown in the detail pane.
now increase production of some item, switch to another category - notice how list shows some other as selected, but detail pane still displays the old item.

ideally, selected item would be correctly remembered for each category separately.
