Description
[http://sourceforge.net/p/ufoai/bugs/159 Item 159] imported from sourceforge.net tracker on 2013-01-28 18:11:52

When I try starting UFO:AI on Linux (Debian unstable,
kernel 2.6.16), I just get "Killed" imediately in the
terminal.

I've got ufoai installed in /usr/local/games/ufoai and
the executable I call is /usr/local/bin/ufoai, which is
a symlink to /usr/local/games/ufoai/ufo

I'm not sure what info will be useful, so feel free to
request some from me (madsen(at)lillesvin(dot)net).

$ strace ufoai
execve("/usr/local/bin/ufoai", ["ufoai"], [/* 27 vars
*/]) = -1 ENOMEM (Cannot allocate memory)
+++ killed by SIGKILL +++
Process 15854 detached

Does 2.0-RC3 work for anybody on Linux? Could to compiler
yourself on your machine and then run?

I mean, could you try to compile it
yourself on your machine and then run?
