Is this already a known issue? I mean the box on the right in buy/sell screen, it reads storage space (used/all) but doesn't show any numbers.

Discussion / weapons balance in 2.5

I'm wondering, is further weapons balance-tweaking planned for 2.5 (or 2.6)? Currently there are, in my opinion, a couple issues.

One is encased plasma ammo for assault rifles, this seems just too good in every way. With rifle bullets being so small, I think it would make more sense to produce similar ammo for shotguns to make them work in later game - I for one would really love that, there are plenty late game-usable assault class mid-range weapons but rather few close combat weapons, I think this would make a ton of sense. There are some other issues as well... please discuss.

When a soldier is killed, message "nn has been killed" is displayed, followed by "nn has been wounded" - so a dead man gets wounded. Not sure how to reproduce, other than by playing for a while - this happens rather often.

if there is no new ammo available at a base when dropship returns, the game remembers how many shots each soldier had left in his magazine, but if the ammo is unloaded from that weapon, a full clip appears in base storage which can be then re-loaded.

Feature Requests / on capturing live aliens

With the advent of stun gas grenades, stun rods and electrolasers have become wholly unneeded; I believe capturing live aliens should be a particular challenge in the game, and with gas grenades it just isn't. I'm all for having gas nades in the game but I think they should be tweaked to up the difficulty of getting prisoners and also to make electrolasers needed.

afaik the current gas nade only has stun damage, is this correct? If it also delivered normal, hp-reducing damage with the stun damage, stunned actors left in a cloud of gas would eventually die (which would make sense anyway). Is this possible to do?

In 19.jpg, you can see that it takes 5 tu to walk from square to another - actor always goes around to it, instead of directly from where he is

In the other one, from where the cursor is, it's possible to walk through the board to where the soldier is now. Cannot walk back the same route though.

during alien turn a taman was firing his needle gun, when everything froze momentarily and I got kicked back to geoscape. apparently the soldier survived and got the taman with reaction fire but this was not displayed in battlescape.

Encased plasma ammo has a market value of nil, and it cannot be bought. Can be sold though.

I was told in some thread here that new phalanx-developed technologies would not appear in the market untill the player had sold some, but that is not the case - is that a bug or just bad info?

Make it possible for soldiers to use medikits on themselves; if they can walk and operate alien weapons they should be able to try stopping their own bleeding. With reduced efficiency perhaps?

Bugs in stable version (2.5) / trouble transferring items between bases

For some reason I can transfer only a few items from one base to another, even when there's abundant free storage space. In that base I can buy a hundred combat armours plus a couple dozen base defence missile launchers without running out of storage space but can't transfer there 10 units of alien materials :^/

savegame attached, problem is seen when trying to transfer from base near australia to base in europe
