The shield icon for the reaction fire mode starts out each battle showing * when it should actually be blank. If you click once it goes to the one shot and click again it goes to multiple. Clicking again turns it off and displays the correct icon.

This is in the 2.2 dev.

Even though it shows the * it is not on. Found that out the hard way the first time it was like that.

Just an update, lastest build it is still doing it. But I was wrong about one thing. When reaction fire is turned off, it shows the * on the shield, not blank.

But it does show blank if there is no reaction fire for the type of weapon (rocket launcher) or if there aren't enough TU to fire.

I can reproduce this problem, thanks for the report.
I'll commit a fix for this soon (the image for the "default" icon seems to be wrong).
