Description
I've been working on a way to make it easier to balance the different campaign levels in the game. Currently the very easy and easy levels aren't balanced. Roughly 3 months into the game the player is suddenly faced with a powerful missions but they seldom have had sufficient enough missions to get their soldiers to point that they have any chance of success. This can be very discouraging to new players. It's well known that the game is truly balanced for the normal level only. So what I did was variablize the min and max number of missions per level. So we can easily change the time it takes to increase the interest level of the aliens to increase the chances that a player will have enough missions to be successful. What I've been testing with is setting very easy to minmissions of 15 and easy to minmissions of 10, but there maybe something else in the works, that I'm not aware of. So I'm just going to pretend this should be a modder option, so I just set it to default to existing defaults in the patch and will attach the patch here.
