Description
After a battle I won (2 interceptors against 1 UFO), one of the interceptors, which still had around 50% of health, simply winks out of existence for no apparent reason. The message says "You've lost the battle" (although at that point there is no more battle), while the log says "CP_SpawnRescueMission: UFO was also destroyed."

Using 2.5-dev September 1, on Linux 64-bit.

Including two save files, slot0 shows the bug, slot7 shows the situation leading up to the bug.
Steps to reproduce this issue
Load slot0.savx, check that there are two interceptors and no enemies, then unpause. In 5 second timelapse, you can see the interceptor fly a few kilometres and then just die all of a sudden.
