Description
I recently got a new netbook ([[http://www.asus.com/in/Notebooks/Versatile_Performance/F201E/|This one]]) and tried to play ufoai on linux with it.
However, neither 2.4 nor the current 2.5-dev gets me further than a blank screen with a progress bar
- and a completely blank screen after the progress bar finished.
The console log(which I'll add to the report as soon as I find out how to append files to reports with this system)
doesn't list any errors/problems, so I'm a bit lost on how to squeeze relevant information out of ufoai.
I'm willing to investigate this until the problem is understood (and hopefully solved).

The problem does not seem to be distribution specific as it occurs on ubuntu 12.10 as well es on Lunar-Linux.

I searched for some relevant debug flag and the closest I could find was debug_ui (which most likely is not close at all)
`./ufo +set debug_ui 1` still shows some interesting behaviour: Nothing's different while the progress bar is around,
but the debug code afterwards prints the outline of some ui window/buttons and I can even switch the active(red) one by moving the mouse.
Looks like I can't interact with the UI though.

Please tell me what you need to know/what I can try to investigate this.
Steps to reproduce this issue
Honestly, no idea. It's most likely hardware specific, so get yourself an Asus F201E (or comparable, whatever this means),
install any linux and try to run ufoai...
