Hi,

I built RC6 for debian, and am enjoying it very much. However, I've discovered a dead area on one map. I'm sorry for not taking the map / location down. The map in question is the shipyard with one landlocked side, large cargo ships along 2 of the 3 remaining sides. and a guard tower on the remaining side.

The problem is with that guard tower. An alien regularly spawns there, but the foot bridge to the dower can't be walked across (an it's surrounded by water). I've been forced to wait for the bugger to poke it's head out, and to nail it with reaction fire.

I had to restart the map once as the alien there the first time never popped his head out, and I ran out of grenades.

Hopefully you can figure out the map I'm referring to :(

I believe you mean harbor07 map. This bug was fixed by cassiterite in revision 4752 and merged to 2.0 in revision 4950.

Yes, indeed this is fixed now in the development version of the game. Trunk revision 4892 also fixed a number of other issues with the map (e.g. unwalkable second-level surfaces).
