The language code for Norwegian bokmål was changed from no to nb a while back. It would be nice if the translation file and installation path was changed to reflect the fact.

Is our norwegien translation in the Bokmál dialect? I don't speak norwegien at all so I cannot distinguish Bokmál and Nynorsk.

Also ISO 639.2 still lists "no" as norwegien and as we don't have translation for both dialects, I don't think it's a good idea to change it. But, you can explain your reasons in detail.

The current 'no' translation is for Norwegian without reference to dialect. This was deprecated in favour of these two:
nno||nn|Norwegian Nynorsk; Nynorsk, Norwegian|norvégien nynorsk; nynorsk, norvégien
nob||nb|Bokmål, Norwegian; Norwegian Bokmål|norvégien bokmål

The no translation should be moved to use nb instead of the current one since the translations are either in bokmål or nynorsk dialect. This is how I've done it in my GNOME and Fedora translations and the same goes for KDE IIRC.

we have to check whether we have to update any of the used i18n libs for this to work. when was this change made in the standard?
