Description
[http://sourceforge.net/p/ufoai/feature-requests/527 Item 527] imported from sourceforge.net tracker on 2013-01-28 20:22:06

Hello,

I have noticed, that there is not enough soldiers coming to me each month. I need to retry missions if someone dies and load game if my dropship gets intercepted, or it would be soon game over. I also noticed that I'm getting a lot of workers, scientists and pilots that I don't use. What decides what I get? Somehow its happiness of territories in game, so that means those people are delegated to me by countries, rather than choose to work for me themselves? I would suggest to set wages for those positions, so that I pay a lot to soldiers = more will come next month, while current ones get higher morale.

Seems unnecessary micro-management for me. But asking BTAxis to judge.

I agree it's too much micro, which is why I'm closing this. That notwithstanding, the underlying issue is real. I maintain that worker and scientist employees, possibly even soldiers, should be available in infinite supply. But that is not a discussion to be held here.
