Rescue zone area should be visible to the player. We should draw an overlay on the map (a transparent green field with border for example (bit like grenade blow-range but filled)) to inform him.

i don't think that this is something for 2.4 - it should be rendered on the radar overlay imo - not on the map

I disagree, on both. The current state is confusing. the player can't know if his soldier is in the rescue zone without moving him around -- and it is also possible that the map has no rescue zones. And when the player want evacuate he has no time (units) for walking around.

The second no: When the player moves his soldier, he clicks on the field, not on the radar map. Checking radar on every step would become annoying quickly.

We should add a option to hide it or change the style of it. Because the wireframe cube annoys me and looks strange for me and iam sure, there other people that have the same opinion as me. Probably just a transparent coloured ground will be better than a big wireframe cube inside the drop ship.

i like them - but they should have the most significant part in the center of each cell. because we have to find a way to make this work on uneven ground surfaces, too. if there would be an indicator in the center we could hover the overlay a few units above the ground (like the actor circles) and could work around uneven surfaces.
