please change the medikit damage paramter in weapons.ufo to "-5 5"

I have been playing the game for a while and am finding that the medikit is far too good at healing your troops. 1 or 2 turns to fully heal a unit.

Given that the medic/healing system wont change much for 2.3, and to balance the game a little. I have been playing around with the damage parameters for the medikit
i think damage of "-5 5", means that if a trooper is damaged (20 health points remaining), it will consume 2 medic troopers to heal the soldier for 4-6 rounds to get him to 100% health, which imposes a particular disadvantage if you want to stand around and heal yours troops.
I think it will really help to balance the healing cheat, where battlescape healing is faster than time in hospital.

About the medikit efficiency, I dont think having the medikit weak will be any good. With your suggestion, you will have 3 soldiers immobilized for 4-6 turns. I doubt anyone would actually do that. It Would be far more efficient to just hide the soldier somewhere and keep the other 2 soldiers active, or even restart the map.

Also, in the current state, you still have 2 soldiers immobilized for 1 to 2 rounds, which can delay a whole assault.

However theres *clearly* a game problem between the time it takes to heal on the battlefield compared to the hospital.

My suggestion : Add a system of temporary life : Healing on the battlefield is still very efficient, but its only a 'temporary patch'. The 'extra' life given will slowly fade over the rounds, and totally disappear at the end of the mission.

Think about the game "Left 4 Dead" and its pills.
