Description
[http://sourceforge.net/p/ufoai/feature-requests/384 Item 384] imported from sourceforge.net tracker on 2013-01-28 20:18:20

In order to build a more user-friendly intro sequence, we need a change to the sequence code.
- Sequences should no longer end on any user input. The ESC key should be the only key that ends sequences.
- A new script code is needed: wait-for-click. This should function in exactly the same way as the "wait" instruction, except instead of waiting for a fixed time the script should wait until the user clicks (or gives any other kind of input other than ESC).

i really don't see the point - why not? ("[..]no longer end on any user input[..]") can you explain?

The point of this feature request is to introduce a user-controlled flow of the sequence. If the sequence ends on any user input, this can't be acieved. This is why I proposed to reserve ESC for this and move all other input to the wait for click (unless there is no wait for click left in the queue, in which case the sequence should end, same as now).

The wait for click itself is necessary to tailor the sequence to the user. At this time, the user has to adapt to the sequence, which is Bad(tm).
