it would be nice if ufo2map gained statistics output capabilities - maybe activated by flag --statistics or similar.

stats that could be output :
- map dimensions in units, soldier tiles (32x32 units horiz, 64 vert), rma tiles (256x256);
- brushcount;
- entitycount - total, breakdown by starting positions, lights...

what else ? :)

If you do, then having it implemented in the code as a check would be the best way. This implementation could be hidden
