Hello, first thanks for the good work.

I would like a "Supreme Commander"-like zoom function, i.e. the zoom in is not at the center of the screen but on the position of the mouse... This would make things alot easier.

The second point is the scrolling of the battle-map. It is possible to move the map horizontally and vertically. It would be helpful if it could be moved diagonally also.

Maybe it is possible to turn the map around and tilt it with the mouse, when no soldier is selected?

Turning around and tilting the camera is already possible by holding the middle mousebutton and moving the mouse around in v2.4 and master.
I will implement your second point also.
