I've created a patch that removed that somewhat hackish "bindingstoggle" console command and adds a check for the reservation popup.

The code will refresh the popup whenever the TU count changes. I've not yet tested this with all situations, but it's quite smooth already.
Feedback is welcome.

to be honest i don't like these hacks floating around for every second popup - we have to think about a more general way to handle updates - i will think about it

mattn told me that this should work nicely as a temporary solution (revision 19104).
At least until we have a more generalized way to do this (popup-registration & "refresh" function anybody?)
