Blood spider should not be subject to gas because the autopsy shows it is a robot. Should have 100% resistance to gas.

Read the gas description, it would still be affected.

The current description - "Autopsy reveals that the creature is a complex robot without any organic components." - indicates that the bloodspider should not be affected.

I've not checked if it is affected at all in the current 2.4 builds, though.
