I am using 2.1.1 on Ubuntu Feisty.

When I install UFOAI, no menu entry is created. I have to run the program from the command line.

It would be great if the installer could add the menu item to the Games menu (at least until the program is available through the repositories).

Perhaps xdg-desktop-menu should be used:
http://portland.freedesktop.org/wiki/

to ensure that the installer does the menu item correctly for all Linux distros.
