It would be nice to be able to choose equipment not only by the graphics, but also see at least the names or better the values (damage window like ufopedia) in the soldier equip screen.

Alternatively, add some button to look up an item the ufopedia, from equipment screen.

After i found the equipment info button on the screen :)
it would still be nice to have tooltips with the item names, but thats only nice-to-have...
