It would be nice, if the soldiers would be able to

The best way to handle this would be to select a point to
face towards, then remember that point.
It could last as long as that turn, or until turned off, or
just for the next click-to-walk.
My personal preference would be that it lasts through
multiple turns, until you manually turn it off.

I think double-middle-click would be a good way to select a
point to face (extends 'turn-to-face'), turned off by
double-middle-clicking the character.

When a character has this on there should be some indication
that they are set to face a particular point, maybe a yellow
line from them to that point?
