Trying to shoot through an open sliding door works only halfways. From certain angles, it's impossible, but it seems that a direct 90° angle shot from the center of the doorway goes through.
I've attached a couple of screenshots, a gamesave and a ufoconsole.log. The system is up-to-date master:

I downloaded today (2012.10.14) newest 2.5 dev win32 build and I could shoot thorugh these door, but couldn't walk. Cvar showing available map squares suggest pathing is not being updated after opening the doors.

great duke, i will check asap - but i think, that we don't have to update the mins/maxs (as they don't change), and the absmin absmax is updated on linking to the world (which is called after each movement). so it __should__ be fine. but i have to verify.

For me it works. Tested moving in/out and shooting from both sides.
Somehow it misses the default sound file. Also, when the actor moves into the trigger there is some lag/missing animation for the actor. And the speed the door moves is too fast imo.

I agree on the door speed. You hardly see the doors slide.

The "speed" entity parameter can be used to define this
