Such crashes are usually HW- or driver-related. Sorry to say it, but the solution is mostly: turn shaders OFF. Search the forums for more details plz.

Hi Duke,
You're absolutely right. I actually posted on the forum that turning
shaders off solved my problem.
I've been playing since about a day after I logged this, and enjoy the game
quite thoroughly.
Thanks for all the effort from yourself and the team.
It's greatly appreciated.
