First of all - I am still running on my backup system so it might be a problem on my side. But no idea what this could be.

If I select a face that has a common texture (like nodraw) and LMB on a random texture in the sidebar, this should put the texture onto the selected face. But it does not. The only way for me to change the texture right now is by copy/paste shader.

This only happens if the original face is a texture from the 'common' directory. On all other textures it works normally.

OMG, thats it. How embarrassing. I did not even notice this feature exists.
