Please see attached image from alien base. The relevant chat log:

<H-Hour> Here\&#039;s what you see. 1) I am on AMD. 2) The texture that has been blackened has an animation blended over the top of it. 3) This animation frame has glowmaplink on it, so that the animation frames are also used as the glowmap.
<H-Hour> If i remove glowmaplink, the texture shows up with no problems.

The texture in question is /tex_alienb/ab_obj_b with animation frames /tex_alienb/ab_obj_b*.

Animation works properly, animation glows properly, but the base texture (ab_obj_b) is rendered in black.
