I press "F2" in a battlescape, it asks me to confirm loading, I do and.... nothing. So that doesn't work.
It may be co-incidence but I then aborted the mission back to the geoscape, pressed F2, it asked but the game it loaded was the same as the one it was already on.

this is no battlescape load - but campaign load, but you are right, the popup should only appear while we are on the geoscape
