Micro shotgun in "3-round burst" mode makes much many shots.

There is a

weapon_mod shotgun2 // weap_fds_idx=1

inside the definition of the item shotgun_micro in weapons_human.ufo.

But we have a item shotgun2 definition also, which already introduces the weapon_mod shotgun2 !

Other than that, I could not find any errors. The 3-round-burst fires 24 shots and uses 3 ammo, which is equivalent to usage of 1 ammo and firing 8 shots with the single shot.

Please describe more exactly what you exactly mean with your error report, Balasar.

Maybe problem is in used sound for shot. As well as the appearance of flight particles have the impression that the shot made with AK47. If you make a single shot it sounds like an isolated and shown approximately 8 particles, but triple shot particles fly like machine-gun bursts and similar to this sound. The same is done if Riot shotgun loaded Flechette Shells.

That is, I think shotgun should shoot 3 times (and in accordance with this sound, like Riot shotgun loaded Saboted Slugs) and displays 3 * 8 particles ...

The problem is you cant add a delay between shotgun shots. A single shotgun shot uses a delay between shots of 0. So if you want to add a burst mode for shotgun it isnt possible atm because if you set it to a higher value, the fire mode will change to its current state (auto single shots). A special command is needed for it which add something like a "shots per burst" function.
