Modelviewer not working anymore...
====== tlh2000 (2010-06-19 06:37:02) ======

it works in trunk - but not in 2.3
====== mcr2010 (2010-08-05 14:33:31) ======

For me this does not really work in trunk, the 3d models are not displayed in UFOPedia ?!
Setting this back to SVN trunk group.

I found out that disabling 'post-processing shader effects' makes this bug disappear, so it is NOT the fault of the UI code.

Sorry bayo, for turning your head.

We could integrate a workaround by disabling post-processing shader effects automatically when entering ufopaedia & could restore the previous state of post-processing shader effects when leaving ufopaedia again...
Changing the state of post-processing does not need a restart of the game, so this would be a workaround...

But in the mid-term rendering in ufopaedia should work with post-processing-effects also ofc., but we should imho think about integrating the workaround in the meantime...

A bug is a bug, i dont see any problem
====== bayo-fr (2010-08-07 10:35:44) ======

Disabling shader should not be the way, or only for the 2.3. Anyway it is an easy way to do cause the battlescape is drawn before the gui.

But i dont have any idea. If it work for 2.4 maybe it is only a bug with shaders or thing like that. Mattn can have a better idea.

the problem was in R_DrawBloom - it's fixed in http://ufoai.git.sourceforge.net/git/gitweb.cgi?p=ufoai/ufoai;a=commit;h=777ed6abd3554c99ee81448ebce2db7d5a3b9808
