The video is corrupted on the Hire screen from the base main menu. I have not found this corruption anywhere else, happens at 800x600, 1024x768 (windowed) and 1280x800 (full screen). I have attached a screenshot of the corruption. I am using an Acer Aspire 3000 laptop with the SiS M760GX video chip with DX9c and the latest mfg video drivers (v 3.85).

It also occurs on Aircraft and Buy/Sell equipment.

For completeness, my cpu is an AMD Sempron 3100+ with 1.43Gb RAM.

The attached picture is the old menu from 2.2.1. Our menu system has changed quite much since that. We have even some widescreen support too now.

The problem on the picture seems to be videocard/driver issue (or corrupted datafiles), I've never seen similar.

The latest stable version is 2.2.1 but we're far from that state already bugs on it don't help in most cases. If you can reproduce it with the latest development version, please reopen the bug with the new informations.

ps. The current development version (svn/trunk) is quite instable. That's why it isn't downloadable from SF yet. We must fix some critical bugs before we can release which will take some time.
