i tried to reproduce this with the exact mapstring in rev 22281 (.2 did not touch this area).
some teen+ times everything worked perfectly.
i have no idea what might have caused this. maybe we can get hoehrer (despite being busy :) ) to look at this, and invent some debugging - for example, if it is not possible to assemble the map, print currently assembled tiles ?
other than that, we might have to close this one...

I think maybe in the svn there are some compiled maps. And when we do a "svn co" we copy them. So if there is no change, maps and tiles can be out of date and not modified by "svn up".

As compiling all maps is very long, I'll do a "make clean" and "re-make" all this night.
I hope, after that, not to have other problems with maps.

Close this, if there is other problems after my operations, I'll open new bug reports.

After reloading and recompiling all maps, no more see this problem.
