Hi,

This is the specs of my mobile lappy which i carry ard with the SVN
R21950.

System - WIN XP SP3, Internal 256MB Geforce, 768MB Ram, 1GHz Processor, HP
Laptop.

Self Compiled the SVN R21950 couple of days ago and continues to Beta test. Encountered this issue:
I know this might not be helpful at all.... but i encountered an invisible obstacle for this map.... which i dunno which one is it. Hope someone can help ...... see screenshot.

The soldier's path is selected, but see that yellow line? Thats the obstacle. Soldier cannot walk through, i ended up walking out through the left and around the building - 1 big round.....

I don't think that's a bug. It looks to me like a partial hole in the wall that does not extend all the way to the ground. Therefore, the soldier cannot pass through that opening (since it is not a complete opening). You can see through it and you can shoot through it, but you can't walk through it. Those kinds of openings are common on maps with crashed UFO's.

Yupz. I know dat already. Precisely the point why i attached this particular screenshot, with the path. Its to show that the system recognised it as a valid walk on tile but u cant possibly walk thru it...... Thats why its called a bug......

Unfortunately i forgot to take the Firstperson View screenie of this, but i verified this b4, its indeed an open fully hole. Yupz.

well, actually that location is passable... if you crouch :)
that's what yellow pathline represents. tested with trunk rev 22070, it's passable.

btw, i'd like to ask you to read http://ufoai.ninex.info/wiki/index.php/Mapping/Testing - especially see the part on map assembly string (in this case you did not specify even map name, took me some time to find out what's what...).
for the record, tile involved is ufocrash/uc_h02

Ah richlv, thanks. I will probably consider a map testing on a deeper level at a later stage. Cos i am in the midst of "playing" the game and checking out the other features. :P

Haven gone into loading the games with various parameters (paras) except for perhaps developer..... noted on that crouching part.... but still on that tile, i did the auto path, clik and the soldier did not move (even with sufficient TUs). .... If i come across that map again on mission, i will try that spot again. :) Thanks.
