Hi,
This is the specs of my mobile lappy which i carry ard with the SVN
R21950.
System - WIN XP SP3, Internal 256MB Geforce, 768MB Ram, 1GHz Processor, HP
Laptop.
Self Compiled the SVN R21950 couple of days ago and continues to Beta test. Encountered this issue:
I noticed a strange behaviour of after-battle summary for weapons/artifacts collected.
Though all soldiers (enemy) were carrying kerrblades, they were not collected. I might be able to guess.....
Weapons are collected if they are not shot? But once they are shot / used by enemies, they are considered expended. Should this be the case for non-expendable Kerrblades?
And btw, aint the weapon and the cartridges be seperate? I.e. If plasma pistol for example, was shot, until its empty, the gun should remain at least right? In this case, its not the case...... both gun and cartridges 'vapourised'.....
What abt the armor the alien is supposed to be wearing? They are no longer found to be part of loot.... Bug?
And also, a little recommendations if this is the case, please make both weapon and cartridges separate as items for collection? I realised in 2.2 and 2.2.1 and 2.1 is the case, not for R21950 so far.

I don't see a problem with Kerrblades amount here: you killed 4 enemies, everybody with kerrblade, results in 4 items collected, in total you collected 1 different type (that is what 1/4 says you). Perhaps they got auto-sold after returning to base?
Ammo is considered as an extra type (as far as I see, one of my soldiers died in action, pushed 1/4 to 7/11 with some ammo clips) - see output like
"AII_CollectItem: adding 7.62mm Pistol (57) amount 1
AII_CollectItem: collecting 7.62mm Pistol Magazine (58) amount 1 -> 2"
on console/in logfile for dev version.
About armor: don't know, did not play that far to see alien armor. But it should be in there as the definition for alien armor does not differ from phalanx armor.

1) Yes, i know that i killed 4 enemies.
2) Yes, i know each of em carries the Kerrblades.
3) My point is if 4 blades are carried by 4 enemies, the booty should be 4 right?
4) At summary, i only
see 1 item (probably the summary could be clearer? Break down of items?)
5) Eitherway, i confirmed from after battle that only 1 (ONE) kerrblade (max) per battle (or any other items for that matter) are looted per battle. (Not an auto sold issue)
PS: I am now on R23386, but have not check on this yet..... some issues with earlier revisions and i should be getting to that soon.
And regarding the 1/4 -> Hmmmm, this is a bit confusing for beginners and leaves much room to figure out....

it is clearly stated "Gathered items (types/all)" (1/4).
I rechecked and for me the amount of 4 kerrblades is added to my storage - perhaps you did not have enough place there? in this case you should have got a message "Not enough storage space in base. x items were sold for y credits". Autosell should have resulted in "by collecting x items you gained y credits".

Nope. It did not work for me. I have tons of space.
Aniwae, it has been a while since that Revision. I am working on a new game, just that i am beta testing the setup of base (setting up a couple of new games and checking some abnormalities so far).....
Get back to us on this. But its definately not a space issue. And yes, i do know abt those autosell and the storage. :)

I checked yesterday and all is collected as it should be. Your victory screen is also correct if you had 4 enemies using kerrblades - as Rudolfowood explained, you collected 4 items of 1 type (4 x 1 kerrblade), that is why you see Items gathered: (1/4).
There were some bugs in the past (when you reported it) because sending amount of inventory between client and server was broken. This got fixed in r27689. I am setting status of it to pending.
