Description
[http://sourceforge.net/p/ufoai/bugs/1989 Item 1989] imported from sourceforge.net tracker on 2013-01-28 19:14:56

Apparently soldier weapon and equipment list is not loaded properly, as items available in the base are not displayed. When a weapon is taken from soldier and put into inventory container, then the item count increases. However, when weapon assignment screen is reopened, the item count for the same weapon is zeroed again.

Additionally, some bugs in rendering appear (during scrolling the container list and when category tab is higlighted) - screenshot is attached.

Reported against SVN r21810
Platform i386 linux.

The first bug is fixed with the revision 21812.

For the second, it can be a problem with your OpenGL driver, or graphic card; or a bad use of OpenGL in the code. Help into r_draw.c and function R_BeginClipRect and R_EndClipRect (i create) are welcome.

Updating OpenGL (mesa) libraries solved the second issue. Sorry for the noise.
